Blake Jenkins is an Australian artist with a diverse career spanning music, theatre, film, and directing. Known for his innovative and collaborative approach to storytelling, Blake works fluidly across multiple mediums both onstage and behind the scenes.

Most recently in 2025, Blake returned to the stage in the lead role of Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors with Drew Anthony Creative, followed by appearances as the Tin Man/Dickory in The Wizard of Oz Pantomime for Zealous Productions and Chef Louis in The Little Mermaid with HAMA Productions in 2026.

As a director, Blake has been widely recognised for helming award-winning youth theatre productions with Bel Canto Performing Arts. His directing credits include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. (2021), Singin’ in the Rain Jr. (2022), Anything Goes: Youth Edition (2023), and Mary Poppins Jr. (2024). In 2025, he directed Chicago: Teen Edition at the Old Mill Theatre, South Perth. Upcoming directorial credits for 2026 include Sister Act Jr. with Bel Canto Performing Arts in July, followed by the full-length production of Singin’ in the Rain at Koorliny Arts Centre in November.

Blake’s professional career began at the age of 11 when he made his debut in the Perth season of the Australian touring production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He continued to build his performance résumé with roles in local productions including Grease (2016), Bring It On: The Musical (2018), and Band Geeks (2019).

In 2020, Blake completed his Diploma of Musical Theatre at WAAPA. In 2022, he appeared as John Darling in Zealous Productions’ Peter Pan Pantomime. The following year, he made his full-length musical directorial debut with Peter Pan: Broadway’s Timeless Musical for Koorliny Arts Centre.

Alongside his creative practice, Blake works as the Marketing and Communications Officer at Koorliny Arts Centre, balancing this role with his performing and directing career. He also continues developing his work as a recording artist, focusing on releasing new music and evolving his sound. With extensive experience both onstage and behind the scenes, he remains passionate about creating meaningful work and connecting with audiences across disciplines.
